On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, Dr. Liang Zheng, Deputy Director of the Institute for AI International Governance at Tsinghua University, led a delegation to visit HeyTrip for an in-depth exchange. HeyTrip’s Founder and CEO, Mr. Huang Lihuan, warmly welcomed the guests along with his team. The two sides engaged in a thoughtful discussion centered on “AI Applications in the Culture and Tourism Industry.”

In recent years, China has been actively advancing its “AI ” initiative, with artificial intelligence accelerating transformation across multiple industries, including culture and tourism, transportation, and education. Dr. Liang noted that AI not only enhances efficiency but is also reshaping operational models and service paradigms across sectors. He expressed keen interest in how enterprises are practically implementing AI and hoped to gain deeper insights into innovation within the cultural and tourism domains through this visit.

During the meeting, Mr. Huang introduced HeyTrip’s development journey, platform ecosystem, and technological innovations in global hotel distribution. He shared that as a technology-driven global travel resource aggregation and distribution platform, HeyTrip has applied AI technology across various departments—including operations, customer service, and R&D—effectively leveraging AI to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making.
