Campus–Enterprise Synergy: SCUT Business School Visits HeyTrip for Career Insight Exchange

On May 22, 2025, over 20 students and faculty members from the School of Business Administration at South China University of Technology (SCUT) visited HeyTrip for a field exchange session. The delegation included Party Secretary Zhou Qin, Deputy Secretary Chen Qiang, and Counselor Yang Shuhe. Ms. Mai Yanping, Head of Human Resources & Administration at HeyTrip, along with the HR team, warmly welcomed the group. The visit focused on company culture, industry trends, and talent development, further strengthening the collaborative relationship between academia and enterprise while offering students a valuable glimpse into the travel tech industry.

During the tour, students experienced firsthand the operational structure, office environment, and corporate culture of HeyTrip as a tech-driven global travel resource provider. They learned how the company integrates technology and global resources to serve the international travel market.

Later, HeyTrip’s Management Trainee Molly shared her personal journey from university student to corporate newcomer, illustrating the growth path available at HeyTrip for young talent and encouraging students to embrace new challenges and opportunities.

In the Q&A session, students actively engaged with the HR team to learn more about the recruitment process, internship programs, and HeyTrip’s talent development philosophy. This open dialogue helped students gain greater clarity on their future career paths and experience the inclusive, dynamic spirit of HeyTrip.

It’s worth noting that this visit follows a previous one by the SCUT Department of Tourism Management, marking a continued and deepened partnership between the two sides. HeyTrip remains committed to promoting industry-academia collaboration through practical initiatives, expanding cooperation in talent cultivation and hands-on training, and helping more young professionals find their place and grow in the rapidly evolving travel tech sector.
