On April 18, 2025, HeyTrip visited the Tourism Management class at South China University of Technology to explore the theme of "Redefining the Future of Travel – How Technology is Reshaping the Global Hotel Ecosystem." Together with the students, they discussed industry trends and career paths in the new era of tourism. The session was led by Ms. Claire Li, Head of Brand Marketing and B2B Projects at HeyTrip, with Ms. Mable, Head of CHRO, and the HR team also joining the event and engaging in meaningful interaction with the students.
During her talk, Ms. Claire Li shared insights based on her industry experience, mapping out the global tourism industry chain and its collaborative logic. She highlighted emerging opportunities and diverse career directions driven by digital transformation. Claire emphasized that today’s tourism professionals need not only to understand the industry ecosystem but also possess "hybrid skills" such as data thinking, customer-centric mindset, fast learning ability, cross-cultural communication, and resilience for innovation. She encouraged students to cultivate early “career awareness” and actively explore diverse paths in the tech-integrated tourism landscape.
In the HR session, Ms. May Mak and her team held an open discussion with students, patiently answering questions related to career planning and industry development. The relaxed and engaging atmosphere further bridged the gap between the company and the students.
This “Enterprise into the Classroom” initiative not only brought real-world industry insights and experiences to students but also enriched academic learning with practical perspectives. As a leading enterprise in travel technology, HeyTrip remains committed to talent development and industry-academia collaboration as part of its social responsibility.
Looking ahead, HeyTrip will continue to deepen its cooperation with universities through guest lectures, practical projects, and internship opportunities, injecting youthful energy and professional talent into the tourism industry, and jointly nurturing the next generation of travel professionals with global vision and technological capabilities.
