HeyTrip Japan Brand Promotion Event Successfully Held – HEY HOTELS, TRIP TOGETHER!

On September 5, 2024, the "Hey Hotels, Trip Together" HeyTrip Japan Brand Promotion Event was successfully held in Tokyo.

 

 

This event strengthened the cooperation between HeyTrip and the Japanese hotel industry, promoting Japanese hotel brands in both the Chinese and global markets. Over 100 hotel representatives from Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, and other regions attended, witnessing this grand occasion.

 

In 2023, HeyTrip established a subsidiary in Japan, marking an important step in our expansion into international markets. To further enhance our connection with Japanese clients, we established an office in Tokyo in 2024, improving our communication efficiency with Japanese clients and partners while better managing and optimizing our operations in Japan. We look forward to continued growth in the Japanese market and aim to create value for our clients through localized efforts.

 

01 HeyTrip's 17-Year Journey of Excellence

 

In his opening speech, HeyTrip’s founder and CEO, Mr. Huang Lihuan, stated that this event was HeyTrip’s first brand promotion event in Japan. Mr. Huang emphasized that HeyTrip has upheld the spirit of craftsmanship for the past 17 years, focusing on the B2B hotel booking sector, and is confident in the Japanese market. 02 HeyTrip's Global B2B Sales Channels

 

Ms. Li Huidan, Head of HeyTrip’s Brand Marketing Center and B2B Channels, introduced HeyTrip’s major channel clients. She pointed out that Japan is one of the favorite destinations of our core clients. Through this event, we hope to deepen cooperation with friends in the Japanese hotel industry and sell Japanese hotels to our global B2B clients.

 

HeyTrip has more than 8,000 B2B travel company clients (including group tours, customized tours, and FITs) and corporate clients (for business travel) globally, mainly distributed across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

 

In the business travel sector, HeyTrip utilizes advanced core technology to partner with global TMCs (Travel Management Companies) to provide corporate hotel booking services. With the global economic recovery, we are confident in the business travel market.

 

HeyTrip’s global hotel B2B booking platform is not only efficient and convenient but also offers a variety of resources and customized services to help hotels increase exposure and sales worldwide.

 

HeyTrip has achieved significant success in the Chinese market and actively participates in international tourism exhibitions such as ITB, WTM, ATM, and TTM, establishing valuable connections with global distributors to further expand global sales channels.

 

 

03 HeyTrip in Japan

 

Mr. Zhou Rongkang, Head of HeyTrip’s International Product Department – Japan, shared the key progress since the establishment of HeyTrip K.K. in December 2023. He mentioned that HeyTrip achieved positive results in major Japanese cities during the first half of 2024 and plans to further expand operations in the second half, including increasing the number of partner hotels, improving monthly room night numbers, and expanding the sales team to support business growth.

 

 

Looking ahead, HeyTrip plans to cover the entire Japanese market by 2025 and establish long-term stable partnerships with more hotels to achieve mutual development and win-win results.

 

At the event, three hotels that have maintained close cooperation with HeyTrip were specially recognized for their outstanding performance in annual hotel sales.
