Visa-free entry to Hainan allowed for a stay of up to 30 days.

On June 29, the Hainan Provincial Public Security Bureau Exit and Entry Administration Bureau issued the "Notice to Persons Entering Hainan Without a Visa". It states that relevant individuals can stay in Hainan for 30 days after visa-free entry and should not overstay their stay in Hainan or go to other areas within China without approval during their stay. If you want to extend your stay in Hainan or go to other areas within China, you must apply for a visa document from the public security exit and entry administration department. After the review is passed, the public security exit and entry administration department can issue a stay document for the corresponding period. (Sohu Network)

 

Heilongjiang Culture and Tourism signs contracts worth 8.1 billion yuan, introducing hundreds of dedicated tourism trains.

On June 29, a signing ceremony for key cultural and tourism projects in Heilongjiang Province took place in Daqing City, with contracts amounting to 8.1 billion yuan. The China Railway Investment Group and the China Travel Agency Association organized 18 railway cultural and tourism groups to launch 100 dedicated tourism trains targeting Heilongjiang Province for the first time. Vietnam extends visa validity to 90 days.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese Parliament has formally approved the extension of the electronic visa to 90 days and the unilateral visa exemption stay period to 45 days. The new visa policy will take effect on August 15, just as Vietnam welcomes the peak season for international tourists. The validity of the electronic visa (e-visa) will be extended from 30 days to 90 days. After approval, foreigners can enter and exit without limit within 90 days. The law also allows citizens of unilateral visa-exempt countries to increase their temporary residence time from 15 days to 45 days and issue visas and temporary residence extensions as stipulated. Swiss National Tourism Board: Optimistic about the long-term recovery of the Chinese market.

In the first quarter, tourists stayed in Switzerland for 9,471,721 nights, a 1.8% increase compared to the historical record in 2019. Regions that currently show strong recovery are mainly Southeast Asia, Brazil, Switzerland itself, the United States, and Gulf countries. The Switzerland National Tourism Board predicts that by the end of 2023, the return of the Chinese market will reach 43%, and by 2024, it will reach 80%. "Although there are still challenges in some reception processes, the Switzerland National Tourism Board is optimistic about the long-term recovery of the Chinese market and believes that many destinations in Switzerland will welcome a large number of Chinese tourists in the coming months."
